If your phaco tip is larger than your injector, a perfectly sized phaco incision is the only incision you need to make. Latest generation injectors can be inserted easily through the same incision. The Planar blade features big bevel up architecture, to facilitate a planar incision. Since the vertical sides are not sharp, the planar does not change its' dimensions with each resharpening. This means fewer replacements and consistent wound size throughout the life of the blade. The planar is available in 2.5, 2.8, 3.0, 3.2 and 3.5mm sizes. The 2.5, 2.8, 3.0 and 3.2mm models will accommodate any phaco handpiece currently available.
