Grooving, Tunneling, LRI & Paracentesis Styles

These blades are grouped together by size, but the functions vary. Any of these blades may be placed in a straight freehand, angled freehand, stepped calibrated or micrometer handle depending on the procedure for which they will be used.


This blade is primarily used for LRIs. Gill's Pop-up or micrometer handles are best.


This blade is the definitive tunneling blade. It is used in cataract and visco canalosotomy procedure.


This is the simplest and least expensive blade made. It is primarily used for grooving, paracentesis, and LRIs. It can be placed in a straight freehand, step calibrated or micrometer handle.
 
This is truly an universal blade. It can be used for grooving, tunneling, LRIs and main incisions. It is typically placed in a step calibrated handle.




This is a very versatile blade. It can be used as a grooving, paracentesis, and LRI knife when placed in a step calibrated handle; as a grooving, paracentesis blade in a straight freehand and as a paracentesis/ fixation blade when placed in an angled freehand handle. This blade is used primarily as a grooving and paracentesis blade. It can be placed in a straight freehand or step calibrated handle.
